CONSERVATION UNDER THE SIGN OF THE GORILLA

In many parts of Africa, "Frankfurt" stands for practical and applied conservation. For more than half a century, FZS has been the logistic backbone for Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) and, thus continues work that Bernhard Grzimek started in the 1950s.

The main aim of all Africa projects is to establish know-how on site and to create an infrastructure that allows the local park authorities an efficient and sustainable park management. The coordination of the projects is conducted in the FZS office in Seronera, Tanzania.
